两季度原盘画质都不错。第一季原生分辨率为 847p，第二季为 837p。线条有轻微的锯齿。画面覆盖了一层较高强度的噪点，虽然盖住了色带，但是也带来了不少烂噪。我们进行了逆向拉伸重构。然后对降噪后的画面进行色带评估，根据其结果进行了自适应去色带处理。然后我们削弱了原盘的烂噪，替换为同等强度的动态噪点以改善观感。最后为了控制体积，我们进行了自适应降噪。
第一季的第八集包含了大量的特效和超高强度噪点，如果完全保留原盘的噪点进行压制的话，这一集成品体积会达到 3.3GB。我们结合了神经网络算法和传统算法对重噪点片段进行了降噪，以分离出高频噪点和烂噪并尽量保留细节，并配合亮度自适应降噪以控制成品体积。
The source quality is good in both seasons, and the native resolution is 847p of S1 and 837p of S2. The image features relatively high-intensity noise, which covers up the colour banding but also introduces a fair amount of bad-encoded noise. Besides, there is also slight aliasing present around the lines. We first performed descaling and reconstruction, next evaluated the colour banding, and then based on its results adaptive de-banding was carried out. The bad-encoded noise was weakened afterwards and replaced with dynamic grains of equal intensity to improve the viewing experience. Finally, our PP ended with adaptive denoising.
S1E8 contains too many visual effects plus ultra-high-intensity noise, which would have resulted in a 3.3GB encoded video if we had retained all the noise during encoding. To solve this issue, we combined both neural network algorithm and traditional algorithm to denoise the cuts with heavy noise: separate high-frequency noise and bad-encoded noise and preserve as much detail as possible, then adopt adaptive denoising based on luminance to control the bitrate.
